FAQ

What if my size is sold out? 

All of our graphic tees are made to order, so if for some reason the size you need is sold out, or you need a size that is not listed on our site, please email us at customerservice@lawaveco.com. We will check and let you know right away if we’re able to provide you with the size needed.

For all other apparel, email customerservice@lawaveco.com.  We may not be able to reorder but we could provide you with measurements for you to determine the size needed.  For example if an item runs small you may want to size up, and then perhaps we do actually have the correct size for you to order.

  

How does the adult t-shirt sizing run? 

We currently only offer unisex shirts; however, they run pretty true to size for both men and women.  The fit is as shown in the images, relaxed not tight.   We will be offering different cuts and fits for both men and women very soon!  All new products will be announced on our instagram page @lawavecompany so be sure to follow us for updates!

 

How does children's sizing run?

Our children's shirts run pretty true to size.  If your child is between sizing (ie between 2T and 3T) we always recommend going up a size (in this case 3T).  That way your little babe will be able to wear a little longer. 

 

How does the adult sweatshirt sizing run? 

The sweatshirts that we currently offer are unisex and run true to size for both men and women.  The fit is as shown in the images, relaxed not tight.

 

What are your care instructions for graphic tees?

Care Instructions: Turn garment inside out and machine wash on cold.  To protect the integrity of the artwork, do not use any harsh chemicals such a bleach or fabric softeners.  Do not iron design directly.  For best results, hang dry.  Note: heat from the washer and dryer may shrink your custom item, and cause the artwork to crack or peel depending on the printing method used.  Make sure to always wash on cold, and hang dry. LA Wave Co will not be responsible for damages post wash.  Please follow care instructions to help prevent damages. 

 

What can I find the care instructions for all other apparel (non graphic tees and sweatshirts)?

Care instructions will be indicated on garment tag of item.  Typically found on the inside, left hand side.  For dresses, check inside, left of skirt. 

 

What is your shop turnaround time?

All items, except for our graphic tees, sweatshirts, and wine bags) are ready and will ship out the first business day after purchase processes. Graphic tees, sweatshirts, and wine bags are made to order.  This means that we do not keep any pre-made inventory.  We do this for a few reasons.  It helps to keep our overhead costs down, but most importantly it also helps to reduce waste which WE. LOVE., and are happy to have found a way to be more resourceful in our efforts to help our planet!  Current lead time is 3 days for processing and handling, ie receiving your order, preparing the artwork, and to make your purchase + an additional 3-5 days for shipping/travel time.

Handmade heirloom dolls require 3-4 weeks as they are custom and made to order unless otherwise indicated on listing.

 

What is your return and exchange policy?

Please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order for an exchange or returns.  All exchanges or returns must be unused and/or washed.  Store credit will be offered for returns.  This store credit will never expire and can be used on any item within our shop.

For exchanges or returns please email customerservice@lawaveco.com. We will then send you a return label along with a form to fill out, print, and include in your package.  Once we receive your returned package we will ship out the new items!  

If the item or size you are wanting to exchange is out of stock, we will email you and let you know when/if there is a restock date.

Note, original shipping fee will not be refunded for an exchange, and will not count towards a return credit. 

 

What are your shipping methods and times?

All products sold in our store are shipped directly from North Hollywood, CA through either USPS, or UPS.  NO DROP SHIPPING!  Any delivery dates provided by L.A. Wave Co. are estimates.  Ship dates are always subject to change/ further delays due to natural disasters, holidays, closures due to pandemic, situations out of our control basically as discerned by our government and couriers.  Customer satisfaction however is of the upmost importance to us so we strive to meet the estimated shipping times as closely as possible. You may also review your order and shipping information on your account page. 

Domestic USPS Estimated Shipping Times

First Class: 3-5 Business Days

If expedited shipping is desired, please email your request to info@lawaveco.com.  In most cases, expedited shipping will not be available/ possible; however, we are more than happy to check into.

All shipments include tracking with delivery confirmation.  Please make certain to ship to a secure location and double check the address you enter!  La Wave Co. will not be responsible for lost packages or packages shipped to wrong address due to invalid address entry at checkout. 

 

Do you ship internationally?

YES! We're excited to announce that we now ship internationally.  Shipping rates will be calculated and applied at checkout.  Shipping times provided are estimates and will vary by country due to many factors such as travel times, holidays, inclement weather, situations out of our control.  If expedited shipping is desired, please email your request to info@lawaveco.com.  In most cases, expedited shipping will not be available/ possible; however, we are more than happy to check into.  Payment must be processed before goods are released for shipping.  

 

My package says shipped but the tracking status has not been updated?

We create a shipping label the day your package actually ships.  The tracking status is usually updated online once USPS, UPS scans the package in either at pickup or at their facility.  It usually updates within one day of the shipping label being created so I'd recommend checking back the following day for updates.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at customerservice@lawaveco.com.

  

Are you accepting collaborations?

Yes we are always open to the possibility of collaborating with talented designers and artists that share our same values and aesthetics.  If interested please send  an email to info@lawaveco.com and include a link to your portfolio for consideration.
